The Opportunity

New challenges and opportunities are quickly reshaping financial services, therefore we are looking to strengthen our Banking Transformation team with junior consultants with a passion for banking.

You have knowledge of general banking, savings products, self-invest – easy invest, consumer lending / online mortgage intake and/or insurance products through your studies.

We offer a Young Graduate Program during 9- 12 months in the front office (branches) at major Tier 1 banks, subsequently you start your journey as a consultant where you will guide financial institutions through their digital transformation journeys, co-developing innovative concepts, creating prototypes, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and delivering cutting-edge digital solutions that drive sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities:

• Identify customer needs and offer tailored financial solutions.
• Proactively spot and seize commercial opportunities, preferably through digital channels.
• Guide customers toward the fastest, simplest, and safest banking options.
• Refer customers to specialized colleagues when needed, following the right processes.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through empathy and expertise.

You will play a crucial role in growing our competence team and contributing significantly to NORRIQ’s success.

Following your traineeship, as Banking Transformation consultant, you will:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct in-depth interviews and analyze business processes, identifying pain points and improvement opportunities in line with strategic objectives
• Identify, prioritize, and align business requirements with strategic objectives, developing comprehensive project plans to ensure seamless execution and value delivery.
• Identify areas for improvement, recommend solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall business performance.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine implemented solutions, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes and adapting strategies based on client feedback and performance metrics
• Seamlessly integrate into agile project teams, effectively taking on roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Business/Process Analyst.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions by engaging with stakeholders and managing the organizational impacts of transformations.

Our Transformation Consultants :

• Have a master degree or assimilated.
• Have experience or show strong interest in the finance/banking industry.
• Have analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently and in a team environment.
• Are fluent in English and in Dutch or French, with at least a passive knowledge of the other language.
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other business analysis tools.
