Finance Consultant

Your key responsibilities
- As a Finance Consultant, you work closely with clients to understand their financial processes, including general accounting, tax reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and group reporting. You identify challenges and translate them into clear improvements that make operations more efficient.
- Together with the client, you design the best solution and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to match their needs and way of working. You set up and fine tune the financial modules, from chart of accounts and VAT matrices to reporting and workflows, and make sure the system is ready for use from day one.
- When clients migrate from another accounting or ERP system, you guide them through the transition. You help prepare and validate the data migration so that all information is transferred accurately and completely.
- You design and run test scenarios with clients to confirm everything works as expected and to ensure there are no surprises at go live.
- To secure long term success, you develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for end users. By turning technical setups into clear and practical explanations, you help employees feel confident using Business Central.
- In your role, you are the bridge between business and IT. You collaborate with technical colleagues on more complex customizations and integrations, always keeping the client’s business needs in focus.
- Beyond implementation, you act as a trusted advisor. You proactively suggest improvements and optimizations that help clients continue to grow and move their organization forward.
Which skills do you already master?
- You have at least two years of experience as a consultant, ideally in a role where you guided companies in optimizing their financial processes.
- You hold a master’s degree in economics, business administration or a related field.
- You have solid knowledge of financial processes such as accounting and controlling, and preferably experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- You are energized by translating complex financial needs into digital solutions that truly make a difference.
- You are analytical, a strong communicator and able to set clear priorities.
- You speak fluent Dutch and have a professional command of English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- You are eager to learn, enjoy variety in your work and want to further develop your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
